Trustees development plan 2023-2024
- To look at opportunities to grow and strengthen the Trust
- To strengthen the Teaching of Writing across the Trust
- To develop childrens understanding of being a Rights Respecting School
Trustees are keen to achieve the very best for all the children within the Trust. Through a diverse curriculum children are encouraged to attain the highest possible standards and develop into global citizens. We aim to be a Silver Rights Repecting School by the end of the year.
Trustees have worked with the Executive Head Teacher to ensure that the Trust is financially viable to grow in size. The heating improvement programme and window replacement is now complete, this means that the carbon footprint of the school has now been reduced and pupils learn in a safer environment.
Trustees are keen to support and develop children within the local community. A holiday club has been established to support parents who need support during holiday time. Over 100 children were given the opportunity to take part in the ‘holiday camp’ with exciting opportunities such as rock climbing and archery provided along with opportunities to develop their understanding of healthy lifestyles. The School achieved Healthy Schools Gold Award through 2022-2023 and will support schools within Manchester as they work towards their accreditation.
